What we collect
When you contact us we collect the details you provide — such as your name, phone number, email address, the practice area you ask about and a short description of your matter. Our website host may also record basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, check for conflicts of interest, provide legal services if you retain us, meet our professional and legal obligations, and keep our records. We do not sell personal information.
Website enquiries
Enquiries sent through our website form are delivered by email to our office through a third-party email delivery service. Please do not send confidential or sensitive details through the form; we will discuss those with you directly. Sending an enquiry does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
Disclosure
We share personal information only as needed to act for you (for example with courts, opposing counsel, lenders or government agencies), with service providers bound to protect it, or where required by law or by the Law Society of Ontario.
Safeguards and retention
We protect personal information with physical, organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above and our record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
You may ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent where applicable, by contacting us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
